Be the change

At Felpham Sixth Form we pride ourselves on the positive impact we can make as local, national and global citizens.

From the work we undertake in fundraising for charities to the support we offer the local community, sixth formers at FCC pride themselves on making a difference. Each year, the work of our students is celebrated through the opportunity to attend national events like the WE Day.

What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make

Rights Respecting

As a UNICEF gold award school, we put young people’s rights at the heart of all we do. Each year, our sixth form ambassadors, led by the Assistant Head Student in charge of RRSA, work with our year 6 students to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the United Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Each year, we plant purple crocus bulbs to raise awareness of Polio and host a tea party for the local community.

Caring for the community

Each year, members of our sixth form are nominated for the Rotary Arun Youth Awards. They are recognised across the local community for the work they do. From safeguarding the health of others to helping to entertain elderly residents with arts and crafts sessions, our sixth formers believe strongly in giving something back to the community that raised them.
